To the left is a cut of some of my work as an Assistnat Editor. This demo reel showcases my AE, editing, and motion graphics work. Editing and motion graphics are two areas I would consider my specialization. They are also the two areas of production I enjoy the most. Tooned In is a game show from the 90's Nickelodeon brought back in 2021. I was asked to join the team as the lead AE on the project. Our team was a 5:2 ratio. The project lasted a little over 2 months. We worked in premiere pro and after effects using multicam's and proxy footage to cut with. This was all during COVID - 19 so we were doing all of this show remotely into the MPE studio. The project was a lot of fun and the team on this project was amazing.

On the scripted TV show Our Cartoon President, I worked as an assistant editor. This role involved delivering shows to the network, creating, managing, and delivering all ancillery deliverables like textless files, music files, as well as reports. I also assisted the editors in the current shows work. This included turning over animatics to the animation department and turning over audio to our mixer. This would also sometimes include grabbing certain files or helping with general work needs for the current episode. To the left is a special video we did as a special for Stephan Colbert's Late Night show that went on to win a 2021 Emmy Award-winning Variety Special.
Software Used: Premiere Pro, Photoshop
Roles: AE, Junior Editor
Another type of video I worked on with Our Cartoon President was assisting with our social department. The social department did not have an editing staff of their own so the other editors and I would help with creating these social videos that could play once the season was on break. One of the social videos I edited is posted below.
When working at Viacom, I worked specifically on the MTV show TRL Top 10 and TRL Fresh Out Fridays. To the left is a clip from one of our Top 10 episodes. On TRL Top 10 I worked as an assistant eidtor to three editors. My job at MTV involved prepping projects, managing media, delivering elements to our studio crew, prepping elements for the monitors to play on during the tapping, and delivering the shows to the network. During this show I coordinated with not only all three of our editors, but also our post producer, associate producers, producers, TD, director, and AD.
Software Used: Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects
Roles: Assistant Editor
Below is an example of a clip from our other show TRL Fresh Out Fridays. This show begain about halfway through our season of TRL Top 10. This show was half the time of TRL Top 10 and featured other topical music events and media related events. We also had live performances on Fresh Out Fridays every week. For this project I also prepped projects, managed media, delivered elements to our studio crew, prepped elements for the monitors to play on during the tapping, and delivered the shows to the network.

I worked as a freelance assistant video editor with Bustle for a couple of months. During that time I assisted in setting up projects for all of the branded content as well as assisted and cut press junket videos. One of the videos I assisted and cut is featured to the left. The press junket featered on the left here is one of my favorite videos I worked on at Bustle. The cast and crew really got into the spirit of the questions and the video was just a fun, upbeat piece to cut.
Software Used: Premiere Pro
Roles: Assistant Editor
This video is an example of one of the brands we worked with. This is one of the first videos I worked on at Bustle. For this project I worked as an assistant editor and later sent the project off to our editor. This project included heavy sound effects work.
I worked with Full Picture as a assistant editor for about two months and later went on to work with them two more times for about another four months, six if you include those first two. While working at Full Picture there was one editor and my self for the post team. I assisted with four branded content videos for CeraVe's new products. One of the videos I assembled, organized, synce, and cut is featured on the left. I also created a proxy workflow for this project due to working with 4k footage.

This past year, I had the oportunity to work with the TC Kidz team to help them develop, expand, and improve their online content for kids. The channel is primarly on YouTube with some content on Instagram as well. During my time working with them the views for each video grew anywhere from 500 people to 1,000 people. The subscribes also grew to over 10,000 viewers. You can see some of their recient videos I worked on here TC Kidz.

As shown in this video below, you can see one of our most popular kids music videos I filmed and edited. We did a few music videos throughout my time at TC with their new music and content.
We also created a few different specials while I was with the TC Kidz program. This video is our most popular special from their Christmas program last year.
Welcomes April is a short film I began working on in the summer of 2016. I had been wanting to produce and edit a short film so I recruited some people I was working with at the time and we drew up Welcomes April. We finished filming this short in November of 2016 and completed the film in January of 2017. To the left is the finished product. As of now Welcomes April has been selected to screen at selected festivals around the state and region.
Software Used: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Pro Tools, and DaVinci
Roles: Producer and Editor
When editing Welcomes April I waited to begin processing through the footage until we were at least two shoots through the project. This allowed me to remove myself from being on set and look at everything with a fresh perspective. I then cut each scene together in separate sequences to focus on that particular scene, focusing on transitioning in and out of the scene at a later date. The video below shows the first edit for the opening scene in the film. Keep in mind while watching these videos that these are the rough edits and are before any color and audio work.
After watching the original cut for the second scene you can see the changes made to the final edit of the film. Some changes were minor and subtle, but other changes influenced major pacing throughout. The next video below this paragraph is the first cut of the entire film. There are many subtle changes throughout, the major one’s being the montage as well as the transitions in and out of scenes. This cut is one we did before our first screening of the film.
Now if you go back to the main video on the left you can see a comparison of each of the edits.
While working with Resonant Pictures for about three months, I worked with two editors in studio and on remote. As the assistant editor for Resonant Pictures I was in charge of organizing, ingesting, creating multicam sequences, pulling selects, and creating stringouts. I also assisted for a day on set as the on set editor, DIT, and content supervisor. I worked on two different projects for Resonant Pictures. The main project I worked on was ACUE featured in the project info button, and the other project was for Maddison Square Garden's in association with Coke, Budlight, and Chase for the Phillip Phillips, Joywave, Liam Payne, and Kyle concerts. One of the concerts is featured on the left.
